The Hefner Principle 2011

As a artist I have a  definite theory about unleashing  more of your creativity and mental prowess.

 How to step it up a notch and this is from my personal experience not just as an artist, as a mother, and a girlfriend .

I have almost always had my most brilliant idea's in my Pj's or in the shower or on the "Throne" :)

So what I am saying take your PJ'S to the office, to the studio, obviously a change of clothes also

(it would'nt be cool walking down Edgecliff road in your pyjamas 

Although............

Next time you feel up against a wall running out of idea's change tack for a while even if you go for a walk for 10mins  gets the serotonin to the brain and hey presto!!!!!

After all Hef must have been doing something right

Second day of the month stampa stack - Sept

Another fun filled girlie ,crafty arty time was had by all of us and we managed to make Christmas cards as well between our laughter .

It reminds me of the movie which I do highly recommend you view.

Its called

" How to make an American Quilt"

Its about, family, friendship, stories, about women bonding over craft, art, and sitting down together and really talking and rehashing about what really matters in life.

Ask yourself this question what could I do that would involve all my girlfriends or boyfriends that we could sit down and create something wonderful together?
 share our history, life,  loves and  tribulations and pass some handemade wonderment on to our future generations ,

As women we have lost the art of this female sharing and dreaming, instead of having a cocktail party's and drink's which is great, don't get me wrong, there is a lot to be said about sitting down gently sipping tea or coffee or whatever just zoning out.

Add some quite time sewing, quilting, cardmaking, crafting  melting old Lp's into baskets.......   anything!!

It is  a whole different mindset and it really does relax you anything that's good for your soul and leaves you feeling empowered and creative.
